I lost a job with no emergency funding in 2005 then in December 2023 with a big emergency fund that latter has been way less stressfull

My f this moment was i was 15hrs in about too finish a job then the owner calls me to say when youre done theres 2 more jobs i said ima finish this one and i quit. I had 18k saved up. Spent 10k and borrowed 8k bought an rv will make small payment on the loan of 8k can be unemployed for over a yr with the money i saved up while i have time to look for a job that isnt horrible to work at downgraded my lifestlye but realized im wayy happier and have time to start a small business wemt to school for hvac amd refrigeration will start my small buissness this year

I feel the same exact way and I have for 18 years. I got another seven years ago if I can make it in the job ain’t bad is the people and I have the same thoughts going through my head.

Don’t make a kid because it costs like $100,000 dollars from 0 to 18 years Be single like most people so a major accident never happens

I loved this and it was just what I needed! I'm 55 and just quit my job one month ago and I'm still detoxing from what was awful, after having many F you moments and was just taking it. I have been in a career rut for most of my life just going to work because I had a six figure salary, not because I loved it. Now I'm trying to figure out how to have my own business because I will never ever go back to a 9-5 after this last year and half of utter BS. I pray to God multiple times a day and I'm very grateful and hopeful he is leading me to my true path. Thank you for sharing and God bless.

I'm at a toxic job but in tech it's been hard this year to find a new job, especially at the same pay but I could probably handle a slight paycut. My problem is I'm single with a mortgage, I don't have a partner or parents that can help me while I ramp up doing something else. Not sure how to leave an be able to pay my bills. I don't even have an expensive lifestyle but a six figure job where I live still feels paycheck to paycheck. I've been working in the Medical Device industry for 10yrs - I absolutely LOATHE waking up everyday. I can feel my mental health dwindling everyday. I'm also divorced, with two girls. I won't go into the boring details of my situation but I am surprised how similar my feelings and thoughts are to yours. Right now battling severe anxiety and depression and I feel like I've run down every possible answer to help me feel like life is worth going through still. I can't say for sure it's all because of work there are other things that have been going on pretty much my whole life too but I've never had a good job. My first job ever was my worst experience I could of ever imagined a first job to be I literally dreaded and feared going to bed because then I'd have to wake up to go back... However, my current job I make more than ever, I work with people I know like my brother, there is a good opportunity to become a shareholder of the company in the future, but I just can't take it anymore! I had my F this moment literally today I almost actually hurt one of my bosses because of something he did to me while I was working and I was already in a really bad mood. This wasn't the first F this moment I've had at my current job (I work at a wood mill btw) but it will be the last one I have there. I am so bad I can't even enjoy life anymore, I show up late for work everyday nearly, and almost hurt people physically when I would normally just ignore them for bothering me. So I can't just simply stay and hope things get better anymore I think if I did I'd end up in an even darker place than I already have gotten to. I luckily have a nest egg from saving for a share in the future but no backup plan either. I am still young though and I am thankful for any support I manage to get on my way out. I've never liked the idea of working a job but never knew it could make me this miserable and I don't know what to do. The only conclusion most of my ideas have, involves leaving my job if I want any hope of getting better🙏. Thanks for the video

I’m at the depression with passive idealization of just….not being here anymore. I can’t stand office jobs. Didn’t know until I took one. I’ve been in a string of jobs I can’t stand and it’s….breaking me. I almost left this life last year. They brought me back. Now I’m mentally in the same mindset as I was last year.
